Highly Detailed 1:18 Scale FMS Toyota Land Cruiser

Today we are unboxing the highly detailed 1:18 scale FMS Toyota Land Cruiser LC 80 4wd RC. This is a bit different as I no longer have a studio or house and am temporarily homeless. My family and I are living in the RV until we are able to close on our new home in Michigan. I was going to wait to unbox this until I had the new studio, but I really wanted to use it while we're camping, so I went ahead and opened it.

This thing is officially licensed and very detailed. Some of you will love that it is a hard body, with beadlock wheels, and working lights. I could give or take the lights, but that's just me and most of you know that by now. 😉

Overall, I feel like it handles well for it's size. Speaking of the size, I really like the 1:18 scale. It feels more substantial than a 1:24 scale, but it still small enough to easily travel with. The motor has some torque, but not a lot of top speed. Overall it works.

The first upgrade I plan to make to it is the shocks. Oil filled shocks would make it handle much better and look more scale as it drives. Right now it's a little bouncy for my liking.

Overall, it seems really nice for under $200 with a hard body and slightly larger size. I'll have more to say on this after I have more wheel time with it.
